I know that when you mow, you should go in a square gradually, making your square smaller until you finish. I try to push the mower in a square, but somehow, my lines aren't exactly straight; they look something like this: But when I'm finished and look at the big picture, I don't see all the crazy lines and turns; I see my pretty yard. A man’s steps are established by the LORD. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.
Psalm 37:23-24
Sometimes, life can be a little messy, not exactly a straight path (sort of like me mowing the grass). We have twists and turns, and we go in directions we didn't expect. But we haven't been left alone. God's word says the Lord orders our steps (our path), and He delights in His way. We can trust that even if we stumble or go on a twisted path, He won't let us fall. He holds up by His hand. Take a moment and think about where you are right now. Can you see the big picture?
